Not That Far 03:40
don’t you know that it’s not that far from here all for show that’s just giving in to fear don’t you know that it’s not that far from here friend or foe far more practical than clear times they will change clothing faces and the names but the heart remains the same the human spirit as they say don’t you know that we are all made up of the same little tiny bits of stuff to and fro you know it’s all just what we think space will surely change horizon and terrain but the soul is still be still when we finally go we find it’s not so far from here the seeds we sow last far longer than these years all things must change but still they’re just about the same simple the refrain just repeat don’t you know that it’s not so far from here

No Worries 03:39
no matter where you go or what it is that you do you’re gonna find yourself there you be with ol’ you know who you gotta put your foot down you gotta stand on ‘em too never mind what they say just who are they anyway there ain’t no time left for putting yourself down (you can take your - take your time) you can rise above it take things in stride easy does you’ll bloom but when it comes down to me it’s either die or do now wait just a minute take a moment or two there’s always another way it’s lookin’ right there at me and you take your time take your time there ain’t no such thing as time (no such thing as – thing as time) you will find you can find you will make it fine

Cosmic Pie 03:11
if I should tell a story would it make you stay a gallant steed some shinning armor and valor finds a way but that’s not the real world I’m just an ordinary guy sometimes it’s hard just to get by sunlight in the morning moonlight turns to day freezing rain or starry skys and love to light my way but that’s just the real world of just an ordinary guy sometimes you’ll have to cry somedays I have happiness others I’ve got pain every day I get what I need but no two are the same but that’s just the real world world of an ordinary guy it’s just a slice of cosmic pie

The Light 02:30
many the times I saw and felt the light many the times I called out from the very small really ask really know and get what you need keeping it for a day giving it all away the flame that burns in a heart and keeps the light it’s in everything you know you know everything it knows

It's a Place 03:35
the sun is out this morning there’s just nothing wrong with me gonna put my feet down in the river get a little sunburn on my knee I’m going home ain’t no reason not to be there I’m going home it’s a place inside of me I’m going home I will see you when you get there I’m going home home where I am free a piece of pie and a cup of coffee good stretch of road in front of me hear the crunching of the gravel stick out my hand and feel the breeze I’m going home ain’t no reason not to be there I’m going home it’s a place inside of me I’m going home I will see you when you get there I’m going home home where I am free like a dream upon the water cast my bread and feel the chi roll along like I was thunder full moon has slipped inside of me I’m going home there’s no reason not to be there I’m going home it’s a place inside of me I’m going home I will see you when you get there I’m going home home where I am free I’m going home there’s no reason not to be there I’m going home it’s a place inside of me I’m going home I will see you when you get there I’m going home home where I am free home I’m going home I’m going home where I am free

humming bird at the window and coffee for me I’ll be working ‘til dark I suppose first I’ll have to fix that old mowin’ machine what’s wrong with that scannel don’t nobody know and the traffic on the road seems a little louder this year running there close to the house sometimes the sameness just get’s in my way I don’t know what happened I’m alright for today well money is still printed on paper there ain’t no tellin’ how long that’ll last but a piece or two in my back pocket is still better than a kick in the pants and the price just went up again on snickers and I can’t say as how that really suits me dumb ol’ reality just gets in my way but somehow it seems I’m alright for today well I ain’t sayin’ that it’s all a big bummer ‘cause my grandkids draw pictures of me email is certainly more convenient although mundane for an epiphany got enough 501’s in the closet to last ‘till I’m about 72… or three but sometimes the sameness just gets in my way I don’t know what happened I’m alright for today sometimes I find it advantageous to say that I don’t care what happens I’ll be alright for today

Your Face 05:19
I like your face I like your smile but you know that ain’t all would you stay for a while or you could leave me a note out on my hood my truck is old but the motor’s still good it could come from on high way up above reach for the sky you could be my rose I could be your vase we could find us a shelf somewhere around the house I could do you like this you could do me like that we could put on a show you could wear my hat it could come from on high way up above reach for the sky surrender to ah it could come from on high way up above reach for the sky surrender to ah camp down by the river like a couple of spoons a blanket of moon light and dream about June it could come from on high way up above we could reach for the sky surrender to love it could come from on high way up above reach for the sky surrender to love it could come from on high way up above we could reach for the sky surrender to love

sometimes you know sometimes you see sometimes you know sometimes you see sometimes you are blind just as blind as me love is the way love is the light simple the truth your heart knows what’s right Gawd, what they think they know it just can’t be the truth no way they are right do what they do love is the way love is the light all I should say here ask your heart what’s right sometimes I know sometimes I see but sometimes I am blind so I just let it be love is the way love is the light now is the time so let’s get it right get it right

This Way 03:59
and I never knew sunlight could taste so yellow never occurred to me that a river would know and speak my name and I never once thought pain could run so deep and we just carry on the way we carry on we must carry on this way and so the Great One smiles upon the morrow live the love and know that’s why we came find a place where there is no need to speak carry on just carry on we must carry on this way
